Brooke Giles is an outdoor filmmaker and storyteller whose work is rooted in a lifelong curiosity for people, adventure, and the places that bring us together.

Before filmmaking, Brooke spent years guiding others through wild landscapes as a river ranger, naturalist, glacier guide, climbing guide, and backpacking guide. These experiences shaped her understanding of storytelling — not just as a way to capture adventure, but as a way to listen, connect, and illuminate the people behind the pursuit.

Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and originally from Texas, Brooke brings a hands-on approach to every production, guiding projects from concept development and field production through editing and post-production. Her years as a guide continue to shape her filmmaking philosophy: stories begin with attention — seeking out the people, places, and passions that inspire awe, then bringing them into the light.
